BIOGRAPHY
Born in the 70s, into the family of Chief Samuel Ade Akinwunmi, grandson of Akarigbo Oyelumade (Koyelu ruling house), one of four ruling families of the Great Akarigbo; Lord… and Ruler of Remo Kingdom and Chief Mrs Abisoye Akinwunmi grand daughter to Balogun Majekodunmi Somoye, (Crown Prince of Owu and Balogun of Egba land at the time of the great War). A product of public school, from Uniben Staff School, Benin City, Edo State to Ire Akari Estate Model Primary School, Isolo, Lagos State and then Remo Secondary School, Sagamu, Ogun State. He proceeded to The Olabisi Onabanjo University(then O.S.U.) to study Zoology but rdleft at the 3 year to pursue a Pharmacy Degree at the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. During his childhood years, his grandfather, taught him to be aware of the less privilege and took him along to assist in charity and community developments activities. His experience growing up amongst a variety of cultures became an integral part of the principle of fairness and equality that drives his daily passion to find ways to create enabling environment for the people around him. After graduating as a Pharmacist, followed by some’ experience in GlaxoSmithKline, Femi decided to grow his wealth of experience in the United Kingdom. While in England, He championed a reform program for teenagers that advocated against drug misuse and was project lead for DIG community advocate project in his Borough. A renowned Pharmacist, Management Consultant, Business Man, Live Coach, Philanthropist and Mentor. He garnered more experience and obtained post graduate certificates in marketing, project management and business from LBBA, UK, Project Management College and SAID Business School, Oxford UK.

EXPERIENCE
20 years policy formulation, corporate governance, management, sales, marketing communications, project management, production, strategy, planning and investment promotion experience with strong competence in change and channel management, branding, advertising, production, communications, planning, implementation, reporting, team building, mentoring, capacity building, government relations and research. Aside from various professional roles and contribution to Nigeria’s Economy, he has served in many voluntary capacities including; Director of Programs in Southern Youth League in 2008-2012, National Youth Vanguard, Christian Men’s Fellowship, and a host of others. He lead the campaign for establishment of fully serviced open plan Kings market to ease rental burden on SMEs and skilled self-employed artisans. In his bid to develop Nigeria’s SME sector, he invested in the only self-funded APP project supporting business traction, called; “OPEN MARKET” In 2014, he indicated interest to Represent Remo Federal thConstituency at the ongoing 8 National Assembly but sacrificed the ambition to support the actualisation of the PMB & PYO change vision. He has since supported various trade groups, unions and farmers to access needed support in their various sectors and looking forward to thoffering quality leadership and Representation in the 9 National Assembly come 2019.
